Possessive Pronouns

 

The Possessive Pronouns are used to replace the Possessive Adjective and the noun at the same time so you don´t have to repeat it again when others already know what you´re talking about. They are:

Hers

Kate has chosen her career. Has Mary chosen hers? (her career)

Its

My dog has buried its bone. Has yours buried its? (its bone)

Ours

You´ve only bought your tickets, not ours (our tickets)

Yours

We´ve found our missing bags. Hope you find yours (your missing bags)

Theirs

They´ve met our parents but they haven´t met theirs (their parents)
