Superlative Adjectives of Superiority
Superlative of Superiority is used to show the top of something. Doing it is quite simple:
Short adjectives (usually one syllable): add the suffix -est to the adjective
Example:
John is very smart. He is the smartest boy in town (of all the boys in town, John is the TOP of being smart)
Long adjectives (two syllables or more): put the most before the adjective
Example:
John is also handsome. He is the most handsome boy in town (of all the boys in town, John is the TOP of being handsome)
