Grammar There is / There are - Simple Past Negative   The Simple Past Interrogative is done as shown below:     Affirmative Interrogative Interrogative Singular There was There was not There wasn´t Plural There were There were not There weren´t   Examples:   Singular There was not any man at the corner of the street There was not any glass on the table There wasn´t any snake in the classroom   Plural There were not two men at the corner of the street There were not three glasses on the table There weren´t any rats in the classroom   Now, as usual, let´s practice. We can try another day 02 There was not money to buy new equipment to the plant but now we can buy whatever we want 03 There wasn´t water at the office, that´s why we´re so thirsty.
