Verb Tense: Simple Future Affirmative (click on the verb to download/listen)

The Simple Future Affirmative in English is really very easy: You only have to add the auxiliary "will" after the Subject (I, you, He etc.) and it is ready. Notice that the 3rd persons (He, She, It) donŽt take "-s" in the end of the verb as they do in the Simple Present.

Observe the examples and conjugations below:

Examples:

Singular

I will see my friends tonight at the university with my brother

You will speak to your teacher tomorrow at college

He will answer the hard questions next week with the help of his teacher

She will fly to France tomorrow with her father and her mother

It will catch the mouse (the dog will catch the mouse)

Plural

We will be with our friends and we will enjoy the party tonight

You will discuss your problems with your family and I will go home

They will finish their lessons and go to school
